- 3 / 5By Tadzio PiesA regular stop-off for us on the M1 - better than a service station. On this occasion we struggled to find a warm spot on the pub. The main Georgian room (nearest the kitchen) used to have an open fire, now replaced with electric coal-effect stoves that seem to give off little - if any - heat. Eventually found a warm spot upstairs above the bar. Car park also needs attention - missing gutter grates & a tricky corner that's probably best shortened (judging by the tyre marks). That aside, the usual Wetherspoons good food, ales & service.June 05, 2017
